Hola! mi nombre es Kelly Alexandra Ravello Vicente, vivo en San Vicente de Cañete.
Estudio en el "Instituto Superior Pedagògico Pùblico San Josemaria Escrivà" la especialidad de inglès, escogì esta carrera por que desde siempre me ha interesado poder aprender este idioma ya que en la actualidad es muy importante para poder destacar profesionalmente.
Mi meta es ser una gran profesional, sobresalir como persona y cumplir mis metas.

Buscando un Trabajo

La siguiente conversación en inglés nos muestra a una persona en una entrevista de trabajo. Esta conversación hace énfasis en el uso del adverbio de tiempo "yet" o aún en español

JOB INTERVIEW

      Entrevista de trabajo

Mr. Trump: It says here that you are a qualified professional

                   Aquí dice que usted es una profesional calificada

Candy:  Yes, I have studied in the best universities and I have 

              obtained the highest grades.

             Si, He estudiado en las mejores universidades y he

              obtenido las más altas calificaciones.

Mr. Trump:  Why do you want to work for us?

                  ¿Por qué quieres trabajar con nosotros?

Candy:  First of all, this is the best company in the city, a 

             company where I can take pride in my work.

             En primer lugar, ésta es la mejor empresa en la ciudad,

             una empresa donde puedo estar orgullosa de trabajar.

Mr. Trump:  You seem very excited about this opportunity.

                 Usted parece muy entusiasmada con esta oportunidad.

Candy:  I would like to think that you are seriously considering 

             me for the position.

            Me gustaría pensar que usted está considerandome

            seriamente para el puesto.

Mr. Trump: There's one thing I have to point out. We have been

                    having bad experiences with young professionals.

                  Hay una cosa que tengo que señalar. Hemos tenido

                  malas experiencias con los jóvenes profesionales.

Candy:  What kind of experiences?

             ¿Qué tipo de experiencias?

Mr. Trump: Responsability. Let me give you an example. 

                   It's ten o'clock. I've been here since 8 o'clock and 

                  the Vice President of Projects has not arrived yet.

                   I'm going to fired him as soon as the shows up.

                 Responsabilidad. Déjeme darle un ejemplo. Son las

                 diez en punto. He estado aquí desde el 8 de la mañana

                  y el vicepresidente de proyecto aún no ha llegado. 

                  Voy a lo despedirlo tan pronto como aparezca.

Candy: I see your point, Sir, but you have nothing to worry 

            about. I'm always on time.

            Veo su punto, Señor, pero no tiene nada de qué

             preocuparse. Yo siempre soy puntual.

En La Cafetería

Linda y Mary finalmente están en Suiza, ellas creen que tendrán las vacaciones mas emocionantes de su vida. Están felices porque, después de mucho tiempo, tendrán la oportunidad de pasar las vacaciones juntas. están cansadas y quieren comer algo.

AT THE COFFEE SHOP

En la cafetería 

Linda: I'am starving. Can We eat something?      

          Me muero de hambre. ¿Podemos comer algo?

Mary: As soon as we get to the hotel, you can order whatever

           you want from the hotel's restaurant.      

          Tan pronto como lleguemos al hotel, puedes ordenar lo

          que quieras del restaurante del hotel.

Linda:  I have a better idea. Let's go to the airport's coffee 

           shop.      

          Tengo una mejor idea. Vamos a la cafetería del 

           aeropuerto.

Mary: Are You out of your mind?. The food there is more 

           expensive than in the city.      

         ¿Estás loca?. La comida de allá es más cara que 

          en la ciudad.

Linda: I know that it's cheaper and more delicious in the city's

           restaurants, but I need to eat something or I will faint.      

         Se que es más barato y delicioso en los restaurantes de

           la ciudad, pero necesito comer algo o me desmayaré

Mary: All right, I'll go with you but you have to pay.      

          Esta bien, iré contigo pero tu invitas.

Linda:  Don't worry. I work as hard as you do. I can pay.      

           No te preocupes. Trabajo duro como para hacerlo. 

          Yo pago

What Are You Doing?

Una de las preguntas más usadas en conversaciones y diálogos en inglés es: What are you doing? (¿Qué estas haciendo?), esta pregunta se utiliza sobre todo entre compañeros, colegas y amigos que están curiosos sobre la actividad que realizan los demás. Por lo tanto es necesario practicar y conocer su uso. Para ello está el presente dialogo en ingles:

         ¿Què estas haciendo?

Paul: I'm reading this article. I have to finish it today 

        Estoy leyendo este artículo. Tengo que terminarlo hoy día.

Carl: Why Do you have to finish it today?

        ¿Por qué tienes que terminarlo hoy día?

Paul: Because my boss wants the main idea.

         Porque mi jefe quiere la idea principal

Carl: What is the article about?

       ¿De qué trata el artículo?

Paul: It's about job opportunities in Asia

         Es acerca de oportunidades de trabajo en Asia

Carl: That sounds interesting

        Eso suena interesante

Paul: It is interesting and difficult. I'm trying to understand these numbers.

        Esto es interesante y difícil. Estoy tratando de entender esas cifras.

Carl: What is Carla doing on the computer ?

        ¿Qué esta haciendo Carla en la computadora?

Paul: She is helping me. She is looking for information on the internet

         Ella esta ayudandome. Está buscando información por Internet

Carl: Do you need my help?

        ¿Necesitas mi ayuda?

Paul: Well, thank you. That's very kind of you

         Bueno si gracias. Eso es muy amable de tu parte.
